Meeting Denny Hamlin

Most of you know that I edit and make videos for fun. Every time that Denny would win, I would make a video about it. Post video footage and photos of his win. I just did it for fun and to show my support for Denny Hamlin, I never imagined that I would get noticed by none other than Mrs. Hamlin and Denny Hamlin themselves. Mrs. Hamlin contacted me asking if would make a video for the upcoming fan club event, and there was no way I would turn her down, not in my right mind. So I put together all of Denny's wins for the season on to one video and sent it to her and she loved it. She even invited me to the fan club event in North Carolina to meet Denny. I was beyond excited. Here is a little bit of my experience meeting Denny.


We woke up bright and early got dressed and got in the car for our long trip to North Carolina

We drove from Florida to North Carolina, so a long the way you can only imagine the beautiful scenes we came across but first we were starving so we stopped at Burger King for breakfast.

After we got our stomachs full we got back in the car and headed further up North to our destination. On our way we saw a beautiful sun rise.

We made it to South Carolina, we're getting closer!

As we kept driving which seemed like forever....

We FINALLY made it to North Carolina!!
 

We saw lots of beautiful things like Lake Norman.. (if you visit Huntersville/Charlotte North Carolina, you will want to stop by and take in the beautiful view of Lake Norman, well worth it)

Then we found Joe Gibbs Racing...it was like heaven to me there

Saw Denny Hamlin's show car

We even saw the cars that they were going to drive that Sunday. On the showroom floor...so neat!

 The day of the Denny Hamlin Fan Club Event we had yummy bar b que, met a bunch of awesome Denny Hamlin fans, did a raffle and even won prizes..

They also played my video on the big screen. So cool!

I met really great people including:

Denny's manager and friend Austin, he was SO tall, he made me feel like a dwarf!

Denny's girlfriend Jordan. Such a sweet girl, we had girl talk we were using our hands which made the convo more intense.

Denny's dad Dennis. He is such a nice man. I asked him if he would take a pic with me and he said why would you want a pic with me. I said well you are a part of making the champion he just giggled.

Denny's mom Mary Lou. Such a sweet lady. She told me how she and everyone else watched my video the night before and they all loved it.

Denny's Aunt Rosaire such a wonderful lady. She purchased one of my dvds and told me how much she loved my video

Denny's spotter Chris Lambert. Great guy, and the best spotter in NASCAR. He explained to me things that I was confused about.

And even the man himself Denny Hamlin. The nicest guy I've ever met. He was so kind an patient. He told me how much he enjoyed the video and how thankful he was.

I had so much fun. I really enjoyed the experience of meeting such wonderful people. I will never forget it. Thank you Mrs. Hamlin and Denny for everything. Thank you everyone for reading about my experience meeting Denny and such wonder people.
